Bouquet of roses bright with dew,
Given to one whom I adore,
My wife, and mother of our sons,
This Mother’s Day to underscore!
‘Tis now I share this simple verse
To mark a special day apart,
A rhyme to hold a message true
That gently filters from my heart!
