What is a Valentine?—
When life is hard to take
And tasks weigh heavy on the heart?
A valentine is someone you adore,
Someone you Iove.
When days are bright and skies are blue
And laughter’s in the air;
And all the world seems good
A valentine makes all life complete—
’Tis someone you love.
I like to give my valentine a valentine
To tell her of my need for her alone
Beyond all else and everyone around,
To tell her of my love so true.
Yesterday is past, today is here,
And valentines can build tomorrow sure.
