He saved me by His grace.
What does it mean?
He took my sin away,
He made me clean.
The Saviour came,
A revelation from on high,
He walked the roads of Palestine,
He touched the broken lives.
He made them whole again.
God’s Son, Jesus was his name.
Where’er his sandals touched the soil,
Sacred it became.
Wide as the world, his love;
Deep as the sea, his care;
And when he spoke—the storms grew calm.
There is no limit to the love of God!
Though undeserved by us, yet still it comes,
Flooding the sky with compassion,
Sweeping the earth with tenderness,
Reaching to every heart.
The master is the message of God’s care,
We—the receivers of the gift—
A banquet spread for you and me!
His children walk in darkness,
We his people stumble, blinded by our sins,
Till we feel the golden touch of God!
Till we see the Savior smile!
Till we feel forgiven!
Let us rise up and trust Him,
Know the source of our salvation,
Listen to His word,
Walk by His way!
And receive His gift—Jesus our Lord!
