Faith, then, is the answer
For the fainting heart,
A firm resolve within the soul,
To trust in God.
To put oneself within His hand
And walk o’er thorny ways,
Full of assurance He will stand by
to hold against that day
when works would cripple,
and ritual replace
a throbbing faith in God.
For Jew and Gentile god came near;
And still He comes for you, for me.
