Lost in Computer Land

Today’s big new invention–

A tool that’s bound to suit;

My son gave a computer,

I’m learning to compute.

Cramming a whole new language

Is what it takes to be

Efficient with computers.

Real brilliant with the keys.

Some have a brand they swear by,

Their “IBMs” they praise.

But I’ve got what my son has,

A “Mac” for him, outweighs!

Compatible–the key word.

Established in their house

Owners like to brag around

And showoff with their mouse!

So now I’ve launched a mission

To learn computerese.

It’s like atomic fission.

It can’t be known with ease.

But try I will with vigor

So as to reach the “net ,”

And if you see me coming

Forgive me if I sweat!
